Architect Cappelli, in response to your statements on Metropolis on Friday 30.11.2007:
- the new settlement of 5500 square meters extent, as can be seen from the zoning regulations specific to the attached version, 160 mt. long and 34 meters. wide by 7 meters in height. This means that only the front view of 160 meters. for 7 m, covering an area of \u200b\u200b1120 square meters, with a clear environmental impact.
- Not only that, the burying of the settlement involves the excavation of a hill (to a depth of about 34 m) held high hydrogeological hazard by the Province of Florence and the Civil Defence, as documented on the website http://www. provincia.fi.it / sit / cartogr.htm. Please note that the owners of the farmhouses have had to intervene with the surrounding periodic and time-consuming to consolidate the foundations of the ground caused the landslide.
- The project includes an additional building, above the warehouse of 600 sqm, distorting the landscape with a building that turns out to be twice the size of the square footage of a typical farmhouse. It is noted that the building height of 3.50 m is added to 7 mt. height of the shed.
- On the localization of this complex is evident that a more appropriate and more suitable location within the municipality, but in areas that are already engaged in artisanal and industrial products, possibly implementing a recovery of existing facilities, the Company will maintain same capacity for representation and employment.
- With this project we want to obviously make a farming area of \u200b\u200blandscape value, away from other productive areas, working in an area of \u200b\u200bpurely industrial with a significant impact on traffic, already critical in that stretch of road, air quality and noise and light.
Our Committee has already recognized the solidarity of many organizations locally, regionally and nationally, all agree that this senseless slaughter should not be made. Therefore, together, we will work in every way possible and allowed to prevent this action against our territory and its citizens.
