Cuneo is, these days - I would say unusual - in the spotlight thanks to the song and the video of Paola Cortellesi and Claudio Bisio parody of the song "Empire State of Mind" by Jay- Z and Alicia Keys. Alcuni dati: nel 2010 sono stati  installati 1.981 nuovi impianti collegati alla rete di distribuzione Enel, mentre la potenza installata è pari a 176 megawatt, il 39% dell'elettricità da fonti rinnovabili in Piemonte.

L’ostacolo principale per gli investimenti nel nostro Paese è la mancanza di coordinamento tra lo Stato e le Regioni.
